Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO cannot start at all, tried all the way
My friend sent this game to me as a gift since it came out, never get it started, run AS and ASC perfectly, tried all the possible way online, repaired Microsoft Visual C++, update the graphics Drivers, Verify Game Files, Re download and install the game 3 times, check the windows defender, No ACE folder in the document at all. My computer is rtx 4070, i9, win11. Anyone has any new way to try?

this helped me

NVIDIA Control Panel:
Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting it from the menu.
Go to “3D Settings” and click on “Manage 3D Settings.”
Under the “Global Settings” tab, you’ll find the option “Shader Cache”. Turn it off, apply the changes and then reboot your PC. After that, go back and turn “Shader Cache” back on, then apply the changes again. This should effectively clear the shader cache

Allowing access for the game in Controlled Folder Access is the only way I could get the game to launch.

You have to go to Controlled Folder Access in windows security and add the game to allow it to launch.

still not working
Find yourself a CRACKED steam_api64.dll somewhere, back up your current steam_api64.dll (which comes with the default Steam installation of a game) - or you can simply rename it, - then copy the CRACKED one into the game folder.
Try to launch the game, see if it helps.

No ACE folder in the document at all

It was reported the game does not create this automatically in some cases so please try creating an empty new ACE folder in your windows documents folder.

Are you storing your documents in OneDrive by default? If yes, this might also cause problems, the game currently does not like that but I have an idea how to maybe fix this.
