I really hope Kunos listen to feedback and don't force it on everyone so we have to grind it just to be able to drive the cars we want.
They 100% need to do this. A professional AI voice guiding people through the academy. A small touch but goes a long way to deliver a more professional feeling experience
Because I now have to make a certain time, I am forced to concentrate well, pay close attention to what the car is doing, if I don't do that I won't make the time, I think that is a learning experience for me. Moreover, I have now also raced in conditions that I would not easily choose myself. It's just a pity that I have race level 3 within 2 hours (with a few 1,2 and 3 star results) so some extra challenge is welcome, now I'm trying to get 3 stars everywhere
Offline currently gives access to all the cars.
This is going to sound a bit harsh, but If you are that slow that you cannot even manage a one star then maybe this game is not for you. Look up how others drive and try to mimic their inputs.
I think one should need two stars or more to progress. But that'll make 95% of the players fail I guess.
AC:EVO should be the Dark Souls of sim racing. Fail, fail, and try again.
Gamers today are so terribly lazy. Back in the olden days you had to start over from the beginning of a game if you failed all your lives. Then along came checkpoints and made it much much easier. And now gamers complain if the game isn't holding their hands all the time. Quest markers and arrows the size of buildings to show you where to go next. It's surprising there isn't an AI to play the games for you yet, but I am sure that'll come pretty soon.
not a fan of this arcade stuff, i was looking forward to a nice sim like AC and ACC. hope they change this or let us skip this "career" stuff alltogether.
