Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO

Game won't start, and the log file tells me "User has not permission to run this product"
Are you bloody kidding me?
UPD: it is a line in a log file that describes why the game refuses to run properly. I've done this & that, and I followed what people advised to make ACE run but nope nothing's working, and I guess the universal 100% working solution isn't just out yet.

maybe more details would be helpful ;-)
No I'm not kidding, step away from the product immediately!:FH5Crown:
Okay guys it was a bit of a tantrum, because who am I to expect a modern game to simply run out of the box amirite? Fine, fixed the description for all the fellow racers out there.
Tried running the game as Administrator?

Of course I tried, to no avail though. A temporary fix that I found was to copypaste the (cannot talk legally about it here) steam_api64.dll over the one that comes with the game's installation.
Which makes me think the issue isn't about antivirus/or smth blocking, or admin rights stuff yada-yada, or anything really - but more likely it's involving game server/auth problems. Or not, I'm not an expert in this.
And again, I cannot state the details, I legally can't. Sorry.

Well I dunno man, I literally tried everything out there, even registry fixes and stuff, nothing works the game keeps telling me through the log file that I "do not have the permission to run it".
The only thing that worked for me was to use the (oh boy we aren't speaking about this here jeez) steam_api64.dll, I won't tell you where to find it, sorry. Because it is against everyone's rules incl. Steam, Kunos, etc.
Yet this thing let me launch the game, and at least play it. The game that I genuinely bought on Steam, you know. It's ridiculous really. And quite a pity, if you ask me.
Not to mention, EA (Early Access) or not, the game that works 'mechanically' (I mean it can launch & run on the hardware the machine is operating on) then CANNOT work because of these 'permissions' issue. What a load of bull, like an artificially created obstacle blocking the game from successfully running.
Despite having an amazing core (excellent visuals, great handling & driving feel, STUNNING car & track details, etc. etc.) the game's plagued by the auth/always-online/permissions issues. It's pathetic.
UPD: What I'm basically saying is: I BOUGHT THE GAME KUNOS. I OWN A COPY OF IT. IT DOESN'T MATTER EA OR NOT, WHAT ARE THOSE ARTIFICIAL "PERMISSIONS" THAT YOU FORCED UPON ME THAT ARE BLOCKING IT FROM LAUNCHING? I SHOULD NOT HAVE THOSE, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME - EVEN OFFLINE - OUT OF THE BOX IMMEDIATELY, WHY IS IT SO HARD TO DO THESE DAYS TO JUST LET ME PLAY THE $$$$ GAME. WHY SHOULD I RESEARCH IT LIKE A UNIVERSITY THESIS OR SMTH, WHY MY LEGIT COPY CAN'T WORK WITHOUT A $$$$$KED .DLL FILE JESUS CHRIST THIS FEELS LIKE A TWISTED JOKE TBH.
I'm not even 'asking too much', I'm asking exactly what I paid for - a working product with at least some minimal (=offline) functionality.

Maybe I keep experiencing the same symptoms as you,
I look at their timeline after game launch and the game turns off automatically.

As far as I remember, they've been happening since the 0.1.1 update
I can't play the game after that. I've tried everything, but it's useless
