Assetto Corsa EVO

Unable to bind wheel and pedals.
Any advice welcomed. Fanatec pedals and logitech wheel.

The problem started after trying to bind a flight stick for the hand brake. I unplugged the stick and the hand brake stayed on even after clearing the binding. I removed the settings folder and tried again but found I was not able to assign anything. The wheel and pedals show up at the top but when I try to bind the actions, nothing happens. I can only back out with Esc key.

UPdated drivers and reinstalled the game but it still isn't working.

Thanks for reading.

Edit note: Everything worked before trying the hand brake

I can't even get my Logitech G923 working at all properly - i lose the H shifter and cannot carry on. I have re-installed the game now and still issues with this.
It should not be this difficult to get a basic steering wheel and shifter working :(
did you verify your files after removing the settings folder? Maybe it just did not remake the folder or something...
Sounds very strange though, some strange things I have read helped other people....

First verify your game files.

Make sure any other game controllers are not plugged in like a gamepad ( not sure why this would work but I have heard others say it worked? Ive had mine plugged in the whole time)

Make sure to check all your possible inputs at the top where it shows your wheel base and pedals go through each one even the keyboard and make sure you clear the binding in all of them.

Starting the game with all your usb devices unplugged....this maybe resets it somehow? long shot but maybe worth trying.

anyways its kind of a tough thing to trouble shoot.

I had trouble trying to bind a e-brake to a button and it just never ended up working, it would not accept the bind so I dont think its possible to bind a button for e-brake on your wheel or something.
Either way it didnt work for me the next day I was messing around and there was a ! in yellow on the dash...after reading around it turns out this means the e-brake is on.....I was never able to bind a e-brake so I really dont know what happened it just went away at some point.

Yeah, for sure. I usually can figure these things out.

I tried your idea about unbinding the keyboard inputs but no results. Every other thing you mentioned I"ve tried. This happened around the time of the update and I think it might have something to do with it.

It's early in the development so maybe I'll just wait for a few more updates.
the only way i got my wheel and pedals to bind was unplug my xbox controler i had both plugged in so just unplugged controller if that helps.if you have something else plugged in besides your wheel and pedals the game wont let you bind
