Licenses to buy cars?
When A C E goes online will successfully passing all the tests be the only way to get new cars? I’m 77 years old and not the best sim racer out there, but I do enjoy racing (single player only). Will I be shut out from other cars or will there be some other ways to get them?

Don't worry,I played in the beta and basically by getting just one star in each test you can breeze through, the fun part is getting better and going for 2 or 3 stars in the tests. Also it is very simple stuff, no need to worry about it. The money seemed to add up pretty quickly too, with every attempt at a higher star level adding to the balance...You literally can have your first license in 30mins or less.
We will have to see which cars are unlocked when the next patch releases, it may just be that one little Alfa Romeo.
All easy, only the electric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ car is a little bit hard. Oh I have 60 y

Are we going to get online this week?
I'd assume that performing well in the special events will also give the Virtual currency to spend on vehicles Willis

Any time grinding for content is life wasted. I want to have the freedom to race without being forced to waste what is left of my life on an oppressive grind. Hopefully we will be able to play the game how we want without restriction.

I doubt there will be any restriction on single player practice content. Maybe they will have licenses be there as a restriction for multiplayer content, which could be a good way of ensuring clean and well matched races? I'm just gonna assume there is a plan with it all. If you have any reservations, hang on for the official release and find out, then.

That would be great if they don't lock content to just online. However, we weren't meant to get all the cars at the start. We were supposed to start with one and progress in single player mode online only. I would just like Kunos to clarify what they are planning on this because it could be a deal breaker for many. Thanks for your comment.

Yeah, I don't know that they're doing themselves too many favours with the silence on the steam forums. I would recommend checking out the discord though, I joined a few hours ago and saw one of the devs had made a few posts there detailing what they'd been working on recently.
