The "true" 4K still requires anti-aliasing for realistic graphics which does not work well with sharp edges. I like how DLSS with quality setting looks in most games and it is even better now with the new transformer model.
Please don't start that fight DLSS vs Raster. Enjoy the best settings you can with the tech your video card allows.
As long as we are not able to spot any difference between raster and upscaled (DLSS / FSR) who cares ...
My PC is quite old and I'm using a 1070, with FSR i gain a little fps boost.
Now ... if I want to spot issues with FSR well ... it's quite sh_tty in the showroom since I can spot tons of ghosting like artifacts which are not when FSR is disabled ... but while driving I don't stop the game to see the artifacts ... the whole looks great.
Now if you can afford a 50XX series and you will be able to boost your FPS 3-4x via the new Multi Frame Gen with no or barely noticeable artifacts while driving, I believe the benefits are more than the cons, so to justify the usage of the tech.
This fight against AI upscaled techs are not understandable to me.
