Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO

Everything appears to be off on this game
I have played AC and ACC alot in the past and they felt great but this game just feels off. The graphics are not great and suffer during races. Additionally, I have a Moza R5 base and it feels weak. I have adjusted everything in game and in the Moza software but I dont feel any bumps or curbs like I do in iracing and it just feels weak. Anyone else have these issues? I dont want to hate this game but it doesnt impress me yet.

Something may not be right with the ffb setup, with my CSW 2.5 I can feel curbs and strips just fine, the curbs will want to turn the wheel slightly and the strips kinda growl through the wheel. Is there another newer set of Moza software you could try out? FYI, in game I have set ALL the dampers to zero and get much more feedback from the wheel since doing so, have you experimented with zero dampers in game, just because they are in game doesn't mean you need to use them....

Settings for Moza R5. In game settings might be helpful for other wheel bases.

Try these settings. Works great with my R5:

Best FFB and road car feeling in any sim I think. Also check your screen resolution before starting the game, as it doesn't change it in game and can cause low fps. Also if you've an 8GB or more Graphics Card, set Texture Pool to High.
As other have said the default FFB settings have way much too damping and it's so much better once you dial that out. Also at the moment having too many AI cars on track greatly reduces performance so don't be too greedy and run fewer AI. I can currently run 11 quite happily but FPS really drops right down if I run the maximum. I'm sure that will improve over time.

the FFB is worse even than ACC. mushy with no real detail.
they have clearly added a ton of dampening and spring effects to the FFB. its terrible as it is.

yo cant dial out the damping. its baked in to the FFB. yes you can turn all the sliders to zero but its still there.

I think the FFB is far better than ACC and Better than AC so far. If the FFB for you is not detailed enough, then, rather than turn gain up, I would suggest you turn it down. I think Moza wheels aren't fully supported yet, this is to be expected, we are in Early Access, it's all a process at the moment.

there is only alittle bit of FFB when you off track and sat still the wheel has some bite in it other then that none, when you hit a wall or car or cut bend go off track there is nothing at all Logitech PRO

beta test isn't here to impress you. Instead you could give some constructive criticism to help improve the final product. You know, like using Moza R5, FFB very weak compared to AC. Graphics issues, using this GPU, etc.

Talking about not being impressed and comparing a week old beta to AC and ACC is just silly and doesn't help anyone.
