Fix for white screen crash on startup!

My white screen crash turned out to be related to my Fanatec Clubsport shifter (with USB adapter). If I launch the game with it connected, it hangs on the white screen. If I connect it with the game already running, it immediately crashes. If I launch the game with it connected and it's stuck on the white screen, and I then disconnect it, the game continues to load.

If you're having issues that you can't figure out, try disconnecting peripherals!
