$50 for EA is pretty much dead on arrival.

People aren't buying these kinds of racing sims for quantity, it's for the realism and quality. And unless you're privy to some insider information then I'm fairly certain that Kunos hasn't said what the final tally will be as far as cars and tracks. If you're not willing to pay over a certain amount for early access, I respect that. You should always be conscious of how you spend your money and what practices you support. But unless they seriously drop the ball when it comes to quality or charge a stupidly high amount then I seriously doubt it will be dead on arrival. iRacing is popular among sim racers and the cost to play is far higher than this will ever be.

Well then I'll wait 5 years and buy the whole shebang for $10. Good luck xD
yeah, 50 bucks is way too much. I mean, it's not even i need ACO EVO. I have Forza, AC with Mods, EA WRC, AMS2, Raceroom.

...and according to a Voting on Racedepartment, only 50% were sure to buy it on Day1...but did they even know it costs 50 bucks? :))
Key-reselling scam websites do NOT know the price. They can only estimate.

Those sites are the main reason devs and publisher don't often tell us prices before release. So we should be "thankful"...

Even for $400 i'd buy this game.

The updates during early access are part of the 1.0 version, they are not free updates.

I've seen a video that says release updates will be free.
If i remember right i had bough on EA back in 2013 first Assetto corsa at 32-33e (Greece) when Kunos simulazioni had come from nowhere.... Now Kunos have already good reputation for making good sim games , Assetto evo is way more ambitious project with more content (in v.1.0) including car upgrades, customizations and even a whole open world map bigger than FH4-FH5 and all this with sim physcis for first time ever in open world racing game..
So i dont expect rediculous low prices like 20-30e , i would expect around 40-50e for EA and version 1.0 at 70e and probbaly some ''deluxe'' version inclding all upcoming DLC's ect at 100-120e

30-40 is a buy for me but I am in no hurry if it is 50 from the start. If that is what they meant with a cheaper EA release price then they really have to work on their communication :steamfacepalm:

3 days till the release and still no official price and exact time of release. I hope there will be no delay :(
29.99 is the maximum i would pay for a EA Game, not a really a big fan of EA Titles though i know Kunos's good reputation in the racing market....but in the end it's still unfinished, bugged an unoptimized (i guess). And the content doesn't seem too appealing either. 5 Tracks,20 Cars and only Quickrace&Practice plus some Game Economy Step 1 (from how many steps?!).

It might just be a placeholder.
Even if it is not then i don't really care as long as the product is good

The lack of pricing information just 2 days out from EA release is now getting to be kind of weird.

Why weird, as i know you can not preorder early access games on steam, you see the price once the game is available to buy it..
