I Know,i'm wondering if their saving the race cars for DLC packs and a lot of the free cars will be road versions.

There will be 100 cars included in the 1.0.
Track cars will come for sure, just be patient.

There will probably be some but the focus will be on road cars. This is basically Gran Turismo for the PC with sim physics.

More race cars would be lovely. What would be even better is if we would't get almost no money per race. How am i supposed to buy cars worth 500k+ if i only get 5-10k per race. Thats absurd

This is what worries me, if it ends up you have to grind for hours or pay for in game currency just to use the car you want in multiplayer then just nope.
Kunos have always been fair with their pricing compared to other sims so i hope it doesn't go this way but it is looking sketchy.

The Porsche is at least 500ch, the Mercedes 700…

Speak for yourself, modern race focused cars have paddle shifters for a reason.

It seems that I'm the only one who's happy with the (far from final) car selection. Even the road cars are enjoyable. One of my favourite is the Honda S2000 - it's a very well balanced machine. I guess I'll have one in my garage in the full version too. It will be perfect for practice new tracks.

Someone mentioned that making the Delta Integrale was a waste of time. I disagree: imagine that thing on the Nordschleiffe with a performance upgrade to about 350-400hp. It will be everything but not boring, I'm quite sure.

And the other new car, the Huracan STO is almost handles like a race car - compared to the Ferrari 296.

So I'm OK with the car selection. What I'm hoping for is some tight and twisty club circuits, like Oulton Park or Cadwell park. At those places even 150-200HP cars would feel fast.

with a sim having such different cars, and trying to please a broad community, you should learn how to express positive criticism.

I would prefer we go with majority road cars of varying performance, the more high end the better. Why do we need GT cars? We have ACC that TOTALLY has that covered. And as for the Lancia Delta, I get that its iconic, but to drive, what a yawn.
