Honest opinions only: Iracing or ACe? (not for haters)

I'M passion for the competitive aspect of racing games (rank,wheel to wheel..etc) I like the chill races and funny times but i really like competitive and i want to practise/improve racing technics.

All the months i was.."I should definetly wait for ACe they all say evolve new competive systems,graphics etc etc...and not buy Iracing. Its hard for me to just buy Iracing because Im like "if i buy it and it release next weekend etc is it going to be worth??" Its hard for me to decide. I know iracing is with subscription (im willing to buy for 2 years i think 120$ and then see how it goes) but on the other side i dont know...if ACe is much better and improve to all the categories??

First of ACE has not released yet so on what possible criteria am i meant to make a basis of comparison?
Second well YOU may be comfortable with shelling out easily more than double the actual retail price of an AAA title, because it adhere's to clean racing (on an age old sim) let's get that right , but that''s your opinion
My opinion is that this posts reeks suspiciously of underhand marketing trying to drum up interest for a far older far visually inferior,product which the devs want far more actual cash for 200%+ a year and more.. does that make sense to you?
Maybe that answers why you have not received a single other reply up to the time i posted.

There is no comparison here we are talking a single purchase vs hundred of dollars in cars and tracks and subscriptions.

iracing = paying $$$ for everything but own nothing. it is to special, there are only race cars.
AC gives you for just 5$ thousands of cars and tracks without a greedy subscription.

Something everyone seems to be ignoring is OP is asking which game to play for competitive play. We don't know how ACE's multiplayer will be setup, but in theory iRacing would be better as the subscription and nature of the races filters out people who do not want to race "properly."

honestly kunos should make a pay 2 play service. you want ladders and organized servers? pay 5 or 10$ per month to play like iracing. that s how you make the game a success

But then you would have people like me who wouldn't buy the game, as I am not a rich man. If they go the iracing route, I am out.
