Chasecam
Proper chasecam please, not like in Gran Turismo. Look at RaceRaoom Experience, look at Forza. Thank you!

As far as camera perpective goes, my only suggestion is to have STATIC replay cameras and less of these panning visuals, the reason pure and simply is because static cameras portray the sense of speed far more than other cameras, and the reason is logically obvious, relative to the track the car is being shown moving across the screen at it's full speed, therefore it increases the sense of immersion..

Sorry but i could not care less about chase cams, imho you don't drive a car from 10 feet behind it you drive it from the drivers seat, even expressed this in the Wreckfest forum, because body damage affects first person perspective visibility hugely but it does not affect those using chase cam and the like whatsoever which is a complete unfair nonsense and don't say then use exterior can like others' because i play sims for the fact they are immersive and reflective to some degree or other of reality, and i vehemently hate arcade games with a passion period. So wanted to be able to have the option to host servers enforcing cockpit perspective for all players as otherwise anyone playing in first person such as those using VR are a huge disadvantage compared to those using unrealistic chase cams, as soon as body damage is significant,,because damage is simulated in the game very well but it's virtually pointless if it does not affect all players..

well, if you got big tv or 34"+ ultrawide monitor, then it's ok. 27" 1440p monitor and cockpit doesn't mix well for me, i just don't see anything through the windshield. In VR it's not a problem, but then again it's not all the time you use VR. I think with chasecam you can get some immersion and get fun. i play singleplayer and hotlaps most of the time

I thing kunes could make so much customizable chase cam. Like GT Sport do, like RaceRoom Racing do too with "chase cam tension"
Isn't this a simulation? not an arcade racer..

Rigid Chase camera, not moving around freely like in FM. Can any one help with the setting or some way around this? It's working on some people and not on others. I am sure there is some setting that I am missing. Please help
Thanks

Once you drive, hit escape and go into view settings, you can then edit the chase camera.
AC1 was one of the worst chase camera ever in racing game, in ACC had was improved much but in ACE Kunos did rwally great job abd the best part is that you can customise and adjust any single camera (hight, distance, Fov ect) to your preferences
Needs to be like Kirby Cam from AC1, honestly I am worried devs are not gonna be able to fill the gap lost from lack of mods

SOLUTION:
GUYS! If you're chase and onboard cam is fixed and does't have the momentum, Please delete your ACE folder in the document. It should reset all setting and the camera should work fine after that as intended. Cheers! Enjoy.

hi all when i started AC up the chase cam had some movement to it as in it would "pan"somewhat depending on the cars direction - now its static and it gives me the OG assetto corsa vibes and i hate it. how can i revert back to the camera that moved more freely? and what setting should i look out for?
