this function exists for AC, not many people know this actually
added in one of the csp patches about a year ago.
its in the app shelf. app called time shift.
im sure this will be either in vanilla ACE or added as a mod once again at some point

Why do you think rewind is a casual feature? What if I want to repeatedly practice a specific corner or section of the track without having to redo the whole lap? Especially on maps like Nordschleife.

Not going to happen. This is what Forza is for. This is a full-on sim.

I dislike rewind feature even in most arcade racing games, car reset options is more that enough...

Rewind doesn't help you to improve on mistakes & wouldn't work in an online race.
I don't think it's worth the devs time to implement it when they could use that time to make other more important parts of the game work better.

If you want a game with rewind function then look at the F1 series or console games. Assetto Corsa isn't for casual gamers.

In single player as an option yeah ok, MOTOGP series includes it and it's also a hardcore sim, Not my preferred play style but w/e floats your boat i guess as long as it does not dilute any other features of the sim which would degrade the enjoyment had for those it is meant to cater for the simulation aficionados like myself. . Though by the same token of optional choices for the player or server host, it should also have the option to allow the host to enforce visual perspective in an online lobby

Multiplayer no way forget it, this is a hardcore sim not some trash arcade nonsense, and if you are not comfortable about that then steer (pun intended) clear
