Mods Support for new Assetto EVO (?)
Do you guys think the new AssetoCorsa Evo will have community mods support as we had in the original game?

im sure they know how huge modding is, so they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if modding will not be apart of ace

If they haven't mentioned mod support by now.. why?

This shouldnt even be a question that needs to be asked....but we are in a much different time now then we were when the 1st one released. So hopefully they remember who made them what they are today.

I agree.. But I have a feeling it wont or its going to cost $$ somehow. They made a press release all about VR for like 5% of its player base. Which I support. But why wouldn't you market EVO and its mod support. Unless I missed something, I could be wrong. All I have seen is people assuming it will (have mod support).

It obviously should, as the series would have probably been dead years ago without it. But the store page DOES mention "in game purchases" which is a bit concerning.

Based on the direction of ACC, I would not be surprised if there's no mod support (or at least not for the first few years when DLCs are planned). Don't hold your breath fellas.

If they don't, then the original will live on forever

I think the reason there was no mod support on acc was because its based off of and follows the real life racing series.

Not that it gaurantees mod support on evo, but i wouldnt automatically assume it wont based soley on that. ACC was more of a spinoff as well, and not a mainline title.

I have low faith it will have mod support. IMO, With its release in a few months. They would have mentioned it by now if it did.

guys lets be real. they cant advertise it as "GAME WITH BEST MOD SUPPORT". because of legal licenses and stuff like that. be patient, these guys cant dissapoint.
100%
Only reason they're relevant is because of mods. In the original AC, they included the mod tools in the dev folders. 100% sure, like AC, they'll have Day-1 mod support.

The best is to ad mods but like maps in fortnite and they pay modders like in fortnite mapper. Win win
