Hi tijndejong9, I haven't watched it all, just a little bits here and there - since you asked for feedback and mentioned your wish to improve, I do have a thing or two for you:

Your voice is pretty low volume compared to the game sounds, and I don't think it's just a matter of settings (it's part of it), but the way you talk it seems almost as if you're whispering things just to yourself, instead talking to your viewers.
More enthusiasm/excitement in your voice could also help, I don't mean to fake it, but if you can find it in you and share, that would be an improvement.
To hear what I mean, play your vid for a while, and than listen this one:

Hope this helps and good luck!

Edit: Just wanted to add, I meant it all to help and not bring you down, and in the example SplatterCat is not only very experienced, with thousands of videos, but also have a specific, strong voice, so obviously everyone will sound different.
This was just an example of clear and excited voice, with good volume balance with game sounds.

Voiceover during gameplay is mostly decent. At some parts I was like "what did he just say?" because not all words were clearly spelled out. Also showing a bit more personality wouldn't hurt, right now it's pretty dry/bland and sounds like a news reporter who's been doing the same job for 30 years.

Beginning menu felt a bit awkward. Did you rehearse what you were gonna say? Try to be more spontaneus perhaps, it can be a bit awkward at start but once you've done it for a while it will sound a lot more natural.

First of all thank you for giving feedback and your not bringing me down in any way.

I do hear now what you mean with the whispering and I will try to improve it.

Again thank you for your feedback

Edit: Btw I am not a native speaker is that very obvious? ;)

I like the 'tone' of your voice very much, it is drowned out by the ingame sounds though, just up the voice over a little, not too much. I personally hate videos where the commentator is shouting/shrill and turn them off as soon as I hear them. Your English is perfectly understandable you have nothing to apologise for about that.

Found vid very dark and difficult to make out what exactly was happening, it's only because I have many hours in game that I eventually guessed where you were, I was surprised that you couldn't hear me shouting. (hehe!) You left your choice to heal frostbite risk and hypothermia very late, maybe intentionally, I was shouting (again) at you to get in bed and sleep instead of wasting calories by playing cards.

Overall it was a very good first attempt, practice makes perfect eh!. Good luck!

Thanks for sharing! :steamhappy:

I haven't completed the whole vid yet, so will return to it later, watch it through and get back to you.

Thank you so much

Not bad for sure, better than anything I could have done lol. I also skimmed it (personal thing, I dislike watching custom runs), and apart from what others have already mentioned my only thoughts would be "Edit: Btw I am not a native speaker is that very obvious? ;)" - don't let that hinder you, or even think about it much. There are many TLD players on Youtube who have english as a second language and their content is still highly enjoyable. It's a pretty good vid for a newbie, and I wish you good luck for the rest of the run and your channel!
