I like the idea of adding pelts to an existing bed to get a warmth bonus. That or at least let me break them down into cured leather

+1 for the Wolfskin LONG Coat, 8 Wolf Pelts + 8 Cured Guts, heavier than bearskin coat, take 2 outer slots, but make the wearer "invisible" from wolves.

wolfskin pants, gloves, hat, i think you should be able to make a piece of every article from these, or at least the pants, same with bear skin. maybe if you wear like a deerskin suit, (jacket, pants, and boots} wolves will be drawn to you, like when you're carrying meat, and maybe with a wolfskin suit, you could get closer to the wolves without them realizing instead of them running away. bearskin suits could just repel everything.

One thing I thought of recently was to make the wolf/bear/moose clothing require rabbit/deer skin (strips) alongside guts. Then you could quality add more wolf/bear clothes for higher level gear. Then make the clothes require skill to make (sewing 4/5, carcass 3/4) to keep people from just making it at the start.

Hmm, can wolf hide be encorpetated into that snow den thing you can build?

I've never had to before, I've always played around the more "used to be populated" regions.

I have suggested in the past that more animal-hide clothing be added. Deerskin shirt/jacket/cloak that uses rabbit pelt insulation layers for upgrading.

Anything further would be (imo) a more significant burden on the developers than they want. I believe that the devs had said that what we have now is about all we'll get for the foreseeable future.

It would be nice to have more animal-hide clothing options.
