Eliminate cardboard matches

Why are there two types of matches? Wood are just a little better right? I'd rather there were just wood and keep it simple.

I'd agree. Having two types of matches is pretty pointless, and even in real life the difference is minimal. Instead of wood matches, they should add disposable and/or refillable lighters.

+1 to refillable lighters. You could use jerry cans or even lantern fuel to refill the lighters.

Ooo, refillable zippo is a good idea. Or at least disposable. That would make matches, firestriker, lighter, flare, and magnifying glass as ways to light.

I use cardboard (aka paper) matches as my primary fire starting since I would rather save my wood matches but that's just me. I got my fire starter badge so start at level 3 which may well account for my preference, but I did it that way even when working from level 1. I figure that having 50% more matches helps offset the lower chance of starting a fire. Each has to find their own truth.

I do wish they'd implement flint and steel. Well as long as it was not as fragile as fire strikers. :)

We should be able to make a lighter out of broken lantern. Infact all it would take is just removing the cover to get to the flame inside or even better idea add the door to the lantern they usually have them anyway for cleaning and replacement of fuse, that way we can ignite tinder from flame inside.
