Disabled cougar, but after update, here it is

A few days ago, after big update, I started a new game. I enable everything except cougar. Spawn in Mystery Lake, played like 25 days or so and than patch update. When I load a saved game, there was, again, question about enableing scurvy... but nothing else (no cougar again). And after like 32 (so, plus cca 7 days or so) an animation of cougar arriving accured. I disable it when I started a game, but, I suppose, it enabled after last update. I don't want it in my game, could you look at "starting en/disableing stuff" options in next update...?

Went to Coastal Highway (to avoid cougar and explore trader), cougar was there, very near the enter and went after me, "great" :/ .

I'm having the opposite problem, I was only asked to enable scurvy but not the cougar :(

There were white arrows next to the 'will you enable/disable scurvy' screen, that you have to press to get to the other options. For me they were Cougar, scurvy, trader. Do you have the dlc for the far territory?

All that being said, I disabled the cougar and still got the cinematic in coastal highway. Hopefully it was just the cinematic, because I'm not ready for that!

It was after the update. Same here. But not in the start of the new game.

There were at the start of the game, not after update though.
I do have the dlc.
And as I've said in my following comment - I got cinematic and then, when I run to another area, there was a cougar and went right after me.

Ever since installing the update on Tuesday, I was never prompted to enable/disable the cougar or trader, only scurvy, on my existing file. I haven't gotten the cinematic or seen any cougars so I wonder why it's enabled on yours even though you disabled it and not enabled on my save? buggy update but it added a lot so it's to be expected

I only got the option for scurvy and no other options. I think I disabled the cougar when it first came out in June but I don't think that would carry over through the new update

Yes, almost exactly same thing happened to me when in Bleak Inlet. Major bug!

Same thing happened to me. Update came and I have my longest ever stalker run in progress (450 days) decided I didn't want a cougar and disabled. Then about 15 game days after the update I was in a different territory and the cougar cut scene played. Now I'm in a third area (Forlorn Muskeg) and hearing a new audio sound. Must be the cougar but it should be turned off. No interaction yet but Hinterland please patch this and honor players selections.
