Trader quest broken -- items not spawning
Obviously, spoilers.

I got trust up, got the first mission from the trader, walked halfway around the island looking for the stockpiler bunker, found it, and I'm right in front of the loose bricks but there's nothing to interact with.

I disabled all mods -- still nothing.

I visited this bunker before the trader/safehouse update if that makes a difference.

Unfortunately, the item IDs for the newest update aren't published anywhere yet, so I can't simply console commands them in like I normally would in this situation.

I just thought this should be out there. I see some other folks have had this problem before as well. Has anyone found a work-around? As I mentioned before, the item IDs would be nice.

I had the same problem. You need to have an active trade for the recovered item, otherwise you see the bricks but can't interact with them. Been to 4 bunkers before it dawned on me. You find "recover item" or "special request" (I don't remember) on the list of trades, and you need to activate that.

Ughhhhh, I thought I should do that after getting the item. I'll try next aurora but 99% this is what it is.

Why have the trader vocally give you the quest but not have "accept quest" as one of the replies? It doesn't make sense to have part of the quest start in the conversation system and the other at the trade screen system.

Thanks a ton.

I completely agree. At least the conversation should give you a hint that you need to start a trade for the quest. The next thing that isn't at all obvious: After you drop the requested item in the box and signal trade complete, you get a reward which you need to pick up before you can continue the questline.
