Can't harvest a wolf carcass

I don't know if this is a new update but a wolf attacked me, I defended myself enough to the point of killing it. Found its carcass laying on the ground but I can't harvest it. I had the same thing happening to me twice. Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before it becomes harvestable? Thanks

Try walking around and clicking on it from different angles. There have been issues where things like carcasses can't be clicked on except from very specific angles.

I've been having this issue recently with snared rabbits. So far I've managed to pick them all up but sometimes it takes a minute or two of circling around the damn thing searching for that one clickable point. Often its not on the actual carcass at all but on the snow just to the side of its back legs.

Yeah, if it is the same problem, the spot you need to click is often at the left or right edge of the object/carcass. It used to happen with piles of sticks as well, but they seem to have fixed that as far as I can tell. Still a problem with carcasses though.

I've had this issue happen for a while now. The carcass is sometimes offset from the actual hitbox on the ground.

I have a ticket open with them and I know they are aware of it, but it might help if you send them your savegames along with the log and a screenshot when that happens so they have more data.

For example I noticed it seems to happen only with animals that die outside my field of vision, not those I shoot directly. And also, after entering an interior and then leaving again, the carcasses are properly aligned again.
