Technical Backpack Missing

I finally found the technical backpack, but after equipping it and sleeping it has disappeared! Is anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?

Yeah I have the same problem. I found the pack but my weight limit is back to 35lbs again :(

Hm... Maybe I wasn't rested to the max. Now I am back to 40lbs.

How do you know it disappeared? Are you saying you lost the carry weight benefit it gives? From what I understand, the minute you find it and pick it up, its permanently attached to your character's inventory. You cannot unequip this backpack nor can you see it in your inventory (which I wish they could have at least put it under the collectibles tab like where you see your notes collected to show that you have actually collected it).

And to confirm that you still have it equipped, you should still be able to hear the new unzipping backpack noises that are different from the default backpack. So if you still hear that, means you still have it.

It gives +11 lbs extra carry weight. But remember, as your character nears "exhausted" fatigue, your max carry limit starts to reduce. Starts about I think at the 25% remaining mark.

After checking and getting my well fed bonus I now see I have the expected +45kg of available storage so the bonus is working. The issue is just that it doesnt show as 'technical backpack' when viewing the inventory. It also still 'looks' like the old backpack. Anyway its just a cosmetic issue which I'm sure they will fix in a patch. I have raised a ticket before Xmas, but still waiting on a response when Hinterland are back from their break x
