Radial Menu not working at all

This has been a problem since the radial menu was introduced. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, using a mouse rather than the laptop pad, nothing. I can open the menu if I press spacebar, but I cannot open any of the options. If I click on an option (say, make a fire), the radial menu will disappear but no fire. This is true for every option. It happens for every difficulty and seems to happen for every map. It's pretty hard to play the game when I can't easily use first aid or put down a sleeping bag.

Yes. I press space until I can press the actual button on the menu. Still doesn't matter.

what is your operating system, did you try rebind to another key?

I am using Windows 8.1. I haven't tried rebinding it, but I will and report back!

If you have the radial menu up and click on the fire tab, that opens a sub-menu which includes build a fire, pass time, and deploy your bedroll among other possible actions. If you don't continue to hold down the space bar as you make the next level selection, it all goes away. Most of the tabs have sub-menus.

I don't think you're hearing me. I can't click any option on the real menu. I can't open tabs to see the other menus because the menu won't work.

The options in the menu are in color or gray (like disabled to operate)?
If possible you can put a screenshot in here.

Even though you're using a mouse instead of a pad it sounds like it's limiting input. Could you check to see if Palm Rest or similar accidental input options are disabled?

No, they look white. They change when I scroll the mouse over to them, but refuse to open. Hold on, I'll add some screenshots.

My cursor is over the water icon, but nothing happens when I click it. This is after changing the hotkey to the B key. (I took it at night so it's easier to see.)

Thanks for the picture, this is really hard to guess, don't know what could be, the game recognize the mouse over but ignore the clicks.
Can you try to click all over the screen when you have your menu opened?

It seems not to do anything. I can have the radial menu open, and the game doesn't recognize if I'm clicking on the bed or anything.

About the other items in the game, inventory, do you have the same problem?

Nope. It's just the radial menu. I can still light fires, use the sleeping bag, use first aid, etc., but it's slower. The game is still functional, thank g_d, but it's more annoying to go through the other menus.
