Crashing when recording with Radeon ReLive (Radeon RX460)
While I mainly have this issue when recording with Relive, I believe that this problem could even be connected with my GPU.

The first time this happened I must have been playing for at least an hour (without recording), I tabbed out of the game to look at video guides and when I started the video my computer blue screened. This is a rare occurrence for me, and so far it has only happened once.

Since then my game regularly crashes, the time the crashes occur can span between 15 mins to almost 2 hours in game (With or Without Recording).

To try and fix this problem I have lowered my game settings from high to medium and switched V-Sync from off to on after browsing other discussions in hopes of finding a solution to my problem. I like to think that the problems have mitigated slightly, but they're still there.

Sometimes the game doesn't even actually crash, my screen just goes black and I'm moved to my desktop wallpaper with the game minimized into the top left corner. The game still has sound, I actually think that whenever this exact issue happens, the game instinctively pauses itself. However, it stops responding if I try to use the arrow keys to quit or resume the game.

This leads me to believe that the game could be causing my GPU itself to crash and reset due to it possibly being overloaded? And that maybe when I record with Relive it only accelerates the problem? I'm unsure, has anybody else had this issue? I do not overclock my GPU, just in case this has any relevance to the issue.

Specs:
CPU: AMD A8-7600
RAM: 8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 810MHz (11-11-11-28)
Monitor: DELL 2007WFP (1680x1050@60Hz)
GPU: 2048MB ATI Radeon RX 460 Graphics (Sapphire/PCPartner)

I know it's not much to look at, but I have good faith in the developers. Besides this problem, the game is very well optimized and I have Thoroughly enjoyed playing it for the short time I have owned it.

I apologize if I may seem a little vague with my specs and description, whatever you need I'd be happy to add and answer if this is not enough.

Pull up the Task Manager and play until crash. Check the usage of both CPU and GPU.

It also wouldn't harm to check out your temperatures. How's your cooling doing?

I have an Athlon X4 860K coming probably in the next week or so as a replacement for the APU, do you think that this could help nullify the issue?

It's a very strange case because I've never had this issue with any other games that I've recorded. But it could just be that the games are not as intensive as this one, this is also questionable considering how well optimized the game is.

Maybe I should try recording more demanding games and see if I run into the same issue?

Checking out comparisons on the web, Athlon X4 860K seems marginally better than AMD A8-7600. Might want to overclock the Athlon X4 860K to get most from it.

At Idle My CPU sits around 42 C and my GPU sits at around 29 C.

As for gaming I can give you an accurate read in an hour, I'm going to take the advice you gave in this same post.

After about 40 Minutes my CPU temp sat at 49 C and my GPU Temp shot up towards 57 C

After another 40 minutes (with ReLive recording) My CPU temp sat at 50 C and my GPU Temp was at 52 C. No crashes btw.
