Grey mother is stuck (bug)

So I entered her house for the first time, and i know that there supposed to be sort of a cutscene or something...but nothing happens, i investigated the whole village and came back to her, still nothing, even tried to please her with some logs for the fireplace, still no change.

Did you trigger the checkpoint when you came into town? Will calls out "hello" before noticing the house.

I do have a simmilar problem in this part of the story, and my game is stuck.

After Will calls "Hello" and notice the house , i enter the house and the cinematic begins, but when the old lady says "you didn´t left like the others" or something like that , the cinematic stops, but the dialogs can still be heared until some point when finally the game crashes, and stop responding, i have to close the game and try it again, but always happened the same.

Soo im stuck

Did you update your drivers/Java and other updates?

Well i ussually keep all updated, but can you be more specific in order to check what drivers must i update (besides of java)

I'm having the same problem. No "Hello" at the town entrance, no cutscene in the house, and no firewood in the bin outside her house. Since the game saved inside her house, do I have to restart or what? The game is updated.

I mean you graphic card drivers ( i have Nvidia ). Find out wich graphics card you have and go to their website to see if you need an update. I'm not sure it wil solve your problems, but everytime i had some issues, new drivers were the solution.
And maybe totally not related, but....Install lastest Flash: https://get.adobe.com/nl/flashplayer/

Restart the save, go in/out or restart from checkpoint. Hope it works

Also ( again not sure if it works ). Go to library>right mouse on the game>properties>local files>Integrity of game cache.
The game checks if there is some files missing and updates it for you ( sorry for my bad english )

Okay, so i solved it by restarting the game and just following the road all the time without exploring, it's all god now

Ty for answering, i have an amd graphic card, and i checked, i have al the drivers up to date, i will try with the flash version, im not sure it solves the problem, but im going to try.

If not, well i can just give the game a little time, i see that the people are having some issues with the new history mode , so i hope the developers solve and patch this details, and then i give it a try again, this is a great game !!!

I've verified file integrity, I've left the cabin and returned, I've left town and returned, and the Grey Mother does absolutely nothing.
