Throwing rock-picking up rabbit bug

So i was doing Wintermute (love it btw good job hinterland) and i was throwing rocks at the rabbits, so i got one and in a hurry i spammed left click to get the rabbit before he got up, but i had another rock so i ended up throwing the rock and while the animation wasn't yet done i picked up the bunny, and i was stuck in the rabbit kill-or-release animation except there was no rabbit nor any way to get out of it, had to close the game and restart from checkpoints. Happened two times because i'm a ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Just wanted to let you know don't take it as criticism, I'm very happy for the game and i'm liking wintermute :)

I had to interact with knocked out rabbit with my bare hands.
So first you should hide stone (press H) and it will pick him up.

This happened to me twice so far.
Both times the bug occurred, I had three rabbits in my inventory already and was trying to pick up a fourth.

I've got the same issue on this version of the game 1.12 (32503).
Survival (sandbox) mod.

boy i read on the 2nd patch of the actual game that they fixed this
