Memento Cache At Three Strikes Farmstead?
My map indicates there's a Memento Cache at Three Strikes Farmstead in Pleasant Valley. I've found the exact spot on the map that the marker indicates the cache SHOULD be, but there's nothing there, no box or hidden item I can interact with. Not like the ones in ML and CH where I was able to find an object I could search to retreave the cache.

I also can't find any accompanying note that points to Three Strikes either. Anyone have any ideas what's up with this? @Hinterland?

Some caches are rock caches mixed in the rocks of the place, you don't figure if don't put mouse over for see the pop-up. Eg. the one under the arch in FM.

I know some of them are in odd objects we normally can't interact with, I found one in a downed tree on Coastal Highway, but this one, I've walked around the rocks, looking for any possible interaction hitbox pop up but nothing. If there is one, where it it and what does it even look like?

The others I found because I had written clues to give me at least some foggy clue what type of thing I'm looking for. This all I have is a vague icon on a map, with no note to tell me what it looks like.

The cache is very similar in appearance to the one in FM, as PowerOn described.
Can you post a screenshot? I've been around the base of that rocky outcropping several times, and since you posted that, I needed a week of battling through Unpleasant Valley's endless blizzards to finally wrap back around to that spot, and did another quick check on the way to the cave for some rest and still can't find anything. I saw a discoloured section of rock I think MIGHT be the cache, but I can't get any interaction option to show up, so I'm wondering if I've been walking right past it and not realising it as the hit bot is super specific or if there's a bug causing it to not produce the cache in my game. However I won't know that until I know EXACTLY where to look and EXACTLY what to look for and verbal descriptions just don't seem to be cutting it at this point.

As for the FM comparison, that means nothing to me as I haven't been to FM in my post DLC run, so haven't had a chance to see it.

EDIT: After having to give Bozo The Wolf, who decided to get in my way, a little Dirty Harry treatment, I tried again circling that rocky outcropping next to the ruined buildings, and again I find nothing I can interact with, just ordinary bedrock. There's nothing here there, nothing far from there, nothing anywhere other then a normal metal container in one of the ruined buildings.

What you should look for is:

That's what I thought, I get no option to interact with it.

Aren't these supposed to be triggered by a note though? What note's supposed to trigger this cache and where's it supposed to be found?

I don't have any note referencing this cache, just the marker randomly appeared on my map at some point - maybe when I picked up the note for the Memento Hint of the path back to Mystery Lake?

Supposedly the note for this rock cache is inside a car in the Long Curve.

In Interloper for some of the Memento caches the note and key is not available, e.g. the box inside Lower Dam in ML, probable because contain "high tier" loot.

This one in Three Strikes contains "high tier" loot - for Interloper.

Aren't these supposed to be triggered by a note though?

At least the locked boxes show the overlay before you find the note and key.

I play in Pilgrim and went to Three Strikes Farmstead, mapped it fairly thoroughly and no memento cache/anything showed up. That left me wondering if there was some location that I had to visit that would bring the memento up.

I did do the Signal Hill Vista location and I didn't see anything new at Three Strikes.

I'm not on a full interloper run, I'm on Custom, with the manufactured tools spawning in, but containers are on interloper loot frequency (ie almost always empty). I'm running a hybrid of Interloper, Stalker and Interloper+ settings.

I can try revisiting the Long Curve car, which i did explore on my way to 3 Strikes, though it was brutally cold at the time so I was kind of rushing to get to the next cave.

I found the visor note in the car on the Long Curve. Once I read it (or took it) the icon for the memento cache popped up. When I finally went back to Three Strikes, I had to get rather close to the location before I got the Open Rock Cache cue. I am on vanilla Pilgrim.

I found the note too, right where you said it was. Not sure what happened, but a bug must have triggered the memento cash icon to appear on the map prematurely. I suspected something was up when I could find no matching note for that cache icon.

Thanks everyone for helping me figure this out.

Cache locations are showing up when the area is surveyed and before the note is found. They really shouldn't for this type of cache. I did the same thing with the stump in Coastal HIghway.

Now you mention it, that's exactly what happened with my cache at Three Strikes. The icon appeared upon mapping, rather then upon finding the note.
