Perseverance Mills?

Ok after much hardship I made it to Perseverance Mills with Astrid is that the end of the story? So not ready to finish playing yet. I wanna know what the cure was for and what happened to the rest of the people.
Please tell me there is still more to come...

You should be very proud of your achievement since no other player has made it that far yet.

I suspect the reason you are the first is the Perseverance Mills map has not yet been released by the developers. Astrid appears at the beginning of Episode 1 but you play as Mackenzie, Episode 2 is also played as Mackenzie. In Episode 3 you play as Astrid in Pleasant Valley. Episode 4 was released in December 2021 and you play as Mackenzie in the Black Rock Prison map. Who we play as in Episode 5 has not been reveled yet and will hopefully be released in 2022.

So, yes, there is another episode to come.
