Chapter 4 really feels punishing

there's alot to unload, you don't start with any of your gear from episode 2,wolves like everywhere ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so many,and i drop off all my my gear except my clothes and food before going back in the prison and i understand them taking my food and water but no they take almost all my winter clothes wtf,its not horrible but i feel like they could have done this better

The game warns you that your items will be confiscated if you don't stash them, but it's not clear what clothing would be taken. Had to save and reload to find out. I recommend using the big storage bin by the guard tower to dump all your items, then throw you coats, hat, and gloves in the trunk of one of the cars.

Maybe it's been fixed by now, but I ran into a bug where water placed into containers would disappear when taken back out. So you may want to manually place your water down in bottles in the guard house.

And yeah, the wolves are unusually bad in this chapter. They seemed much more sensitive to scent than I remember. There's plenty of man-made food around and no need to dry intestines or craft anything, so my advice is don't travel anywhere with meat or intestines. Eat meat on the spot or just leave it.

the clothes being taken definitely feels on purpose like you wouldn't think about it so i just rolled with it i can probably find a new coat and i will from now on walk in naked with nothing, also thanks for the free advice i didn't know wolves could smell that stuff
