OP- Hinterland does not give dates for release, exact or estimated- until they are sure of the shipping date for all platforms the game is on. If they answer this question, they are going to tell you "We'll let you know when we have more information to share.".

You are not going to get an estimated or approximation. Any guesses that other players make are just that- guesses.
Hinterland made a mistake years ago by posting a Countdown- it was supposed to be a countdown to release. Then something happened that delayed the release. It came to be known by the community as the "Countdown to a Countdown incident". The backlash from people here on Steam, on the online forums, and on social media was brutal.
They are not going to give any dates, exact or estimated, until they are 100% sure they will be met.

well most likely it wont be out until at the earliest October 2023. but given that it would be the final episode it might take more than 2 years (the time between the last 3 episodes).

I was hoping that it would be October of 2022 but this is sort of bothersome. I prefer to be able to finish a game in a relatively short period of time. This is not to my preference since I bought this game several months ago and I will have to wait, possibly, another 13 months. Not right, and because I now have to wait that long, I am wishing that I had not bought it since I am not able to return it now.

Raph seems unusually confident about a 2023 release. I'd wager a guess that they're planning for a release in the first half of 2023. Of course, whether than plan works out or not remains to be seen.

Seriously. I purchased the expansion since there was a big "Wintermute" banner there. Only to now find out in the fine print that it's 'schedule to be release in late 2023'. FFS guys. Whoever is on your marketing/communications team should be fired. Absolutely misleading. "To be released end of 2023" should be ON THE BANNER.
