Is the game putting you back into FM instead? Do you have the radio transponder parts collected from both of the 2 radio towers? You need to have those to progress in the story. If you missed picking one or both of them up, tha is the only way I can see the game not taking you back to the Trapper's Cabin after the final battles with the bear inside of the cave.
If you have not battled the bear inside of the cave- you missed a step in the mission, usually not having the radio transponder parts.
You will battle the bear 3 times- once at each of the 2 radio towers, then a 3-part battle inside of the cave. You do not find the cave- if you won the battles at the radio towers and picked up the radio transponder parts you need, the bear will attack you outside of the tunnel back to FM when you try to leave, and drag you into the cave. (You will pass out and wake up inside of the cave.)
The fact that you are still on the FM map and seeing the bear spear icon for the cave tells me you missed a step or steps in the mission. The episode is scripted. You have no choice but to go into the cave for the final battle(s) with the bear. Look at your Journal at the quest logs (all of them) to see which step(s) you missed.
If you've only fought the bear once, it isn't dead, and you are not done.
Yeah, that shouldn't happen if the old Bear is already dead and Jerry has the radio working.
If you have published the screenshots to your profile, and the privacy setting on them is set to Public, you can copy the url from the screenshot and post it in a thread, and it shows up as a preview in the thread. (Click on the image in your profile screenshot content, and in the upper left corner of the new window that opens, copy and paste the url that is there.)
But this sounds like a bug or an oversight, if the old bear is dead, and the radio is rebuilt.
You can file a bug report on it here: https://hinterlandgames.zendesk.com/ and attach the screenshot directly from your computer hard drive (doesn't matter what your privacy settings are on Steam, since you are uploading directly from your machine). If you aren't sure where your screenshots are stored on you local hard drive, here's a link to an explanation of where to find them for a direct upload (to the bug report), depending on your Operating System: https://appuals.com/access-steam-screenshot-folder/
(quick edit- this only applies to screenshots taken using the steam Overlay- if you took them using a snipping tool or third party screenshot tool like Lightshot, you'll uplad from the folder your machine is set to save saved images to.)
