Mukluks or Mountaineer Boots?

Hello, for WIntermute, which of the boots did you all choose/ended up with? Fashion or wear lol? Both the mukluks and mountaineer boots have exact same stats at 100% new. Except mukluks weighs 1.5kg while mountaineer boots weighs 1.kg. I stuck with the mountaineering boots mainly because it was a gift from Mother Grey, upon completion of quest/line story. Am curious to what folks choose for their character to wear on their feet (ep1 & ep2).

I'm wearing the moutaineer boots, but I'm carrying the mukluks back to Trapper's. I'm so habitually happy whenever I find them that I just can't bear to leave them behind.

I used the mountaineer boots until I was able to craft the deer skin, I found the mukluks and prefer those to the deer skin (easier to repair and lighter)

Hi. How did you get deerskin boots in ep2? i didnt see any recipe/blueprint for it. Is it in one of the side quest? @heza86 i left my mukluks in the cabin office. it does look nice, but the extra weight makes it not worth it lol. I do like how it looks on our character profile/doll. Both have exact same stats (minus the .5 weight). Again Grey Mothers reward/gift lol. Lasted for throughout parts of ep1 & all of ep2 lol.
Ah ok found the blueprints lol. Didnt check to see if i had them. Once I made the wolfskin coat, forgot to check if i had any other blueprint (after completed the deer queset). Thanks for mentioning it lol. Will have to make a pair now.

Are they? Did she somehow imply that? I missed it. It would make sense - though they are Mountaineer's Boots. I just assumed that meant climbing boots - so Lily.

Of course, Mackenzie could simply be a universal foot type. Everything fits.
