Church Artifact help

Hey folks, where the hell is the basement on Skeeter's Ridge, the one I need to find to locate the stolen Church artifact. I simply cannot find the thing for the life of me

Have you been to the plane yet? It isn't far. It is under one of the burned houses by there. Same basement that is there in survival mode.

Is that the house where you get a phone call from Molly on the way back?

Because the marker itself seems to be in some impassable mountains

No. It's a set of houses further up. It is exactly where the marker is. there is flat land there on top of the ridge. You have to go around as there is no climbing rope up in wintermute.

I've been all over those mountains and still havent heard of this basement, the ! marker is still there beside the plane, what am i missing to find that artifact?

If you're up by the plane, if you're back a ways with the plane to your front right, then you want to head toward the left around the rock formations. You'll see a small burnt out house that usually has a loot box. Keep going and further off to the left you'll see a larger burnt house that may or may not have some loot; sometimes a tool box. As you head that way, you'll get the Skeeter's Ridge location header. Further back still is a mid-size burnt house, around the back side of that will be the cellar doors leading into the basement.

Hello. If you tried/played the Challenge, part with the bear, it will show you where the location is. You can use that as a mark per se (if the bear havent killed you before making it to the basement). Thats what I remembered from last year playing. Other then that, what everyone else mentioned.
