What's Jeremiah Up to? (EPISODE 2 SPOILERS)
Anyone else finding something... odd about Jeremiah? I think he's probably more than a lone hunter... I mean, when Will asks Jeremiah if he's seen any electronics act up during the Aurora, Jeremiah informs that he doesn't have any electricity... only to open a secret hatch of sorts under the floorboards and flick some sort of electrical switch after Will leaves...

After Will kills the Old Bear, Jeremiah asks Will to send a very important message/code word to a certain Atwood, mentioning that this is beyond important for everyone. I remember Jeremiah also saying something about how the Old Bear was basically the "easy" part of the tasks up ahead... Is Jeremiah's own mission for better or for worse?

Not to mention, he's got those weird letters that he wants Will to burn badly, and considering that he needs to trust Will enough to request him to do such a thing, there's clearly something fishy going on... has anyone examined the letters up close in the journal menu?

I'd like to know what everyone else thinks about this strange guy, and see if anyone has some theories about him. He's actually my favorite character so far (I love the conversations he and Will have) and I'm anxious to see what his deal is!

Oh, there's definitely a lot more going on here than is on the surface. There's quite a few little plot hooks through out the two episodes.

As to Jeremiah's letters. No, there's nothing to see in the journal. Which sucks. It's one of those moral decisions they could have included... and to keep everything msyterious, they could have had the letters seem innocent, but maybe just odd enough to make you think they are coded.

Indeed... at least keeping the letters could have been an explicit choice, finishing the mission in journal although not finishing it.

Jeremiah knows more. To me it seems like he knows he was on the wrong side - perhaps even just at an early stage of whatever was done - and is not willing to let himself escape the responsibility. His existence has a kathartic vibe.
