Report a translation problem
As to Jeremiah's letters. No, there's nothing to see in the journal. Which sucks. It's one of those moral decisions they could have included... and to keep everything msyterious, they could have had the letters seem innocent, but maybe just odd enough to make you think they are coded.
Jeremiah knows more. To me it seems like he knows he was on the wrong side - perhaps even just at an early stage of whatever was done - and is not willing to let himself escape the responsibility. His existence has a kathartic vibe.
