Yes, it makes sense in terms of "realism", but it's calories that count, not super-granular Food Pyramid type nutrition.
Should they introduce Cattail Stalk starvation too?
I can understand that. I enjoy the game a lot regardless of what I said. The game is great!
I kinda prefer that this game keeps it simpler and concentrates on more basic needs meters and requirements.
If the sequel has seasons- then maybe add more granular nutrition, if we have growing seasons where we can farm and grow plants and raise animals for food. In an everlasting winter scenario- we eat whatever we can find or kill.
Surely not certain how viable or sustainable a strategy, that is.
Could make for an interesting challenge of course, and I'm sure some people would do it, if it hasn't already been done.
Seriously tho, you'd need to catch like 5-8 rabbits daily, depending on calorie burn and how active you are, without dipping into the red starvation mechanics anyhow. It seems a bit, excessive, just with stoning and snaring, to be able to sustain that rate of bunny meat consumption without depleting the local groves...
