*almost* check my acheivements. I am the wolf bait.
Why on earth should the topic be locked? What are you implying?
Type 2 diabetes is mostly caused by a bad lifestyle, i.e. obesity and lack of physical activity.
You would need to survive several years, sitting in a cabin, while solely eating canned peaches and peanut butter to get Type 2 diabetes and die from the complications.
There are many more diseases/injuries that would need to be simulated, before you think about something like diabetes.
As mentioned before, scurvy (vitamin C deficiancy) would be the obvious, because of the poor diet with barely any fruit or vegetables.
Another important one would be vitamin D deficiancy, which is primarily caused by a lack of UVB radition, i.e. the long dark in high lattitudes.
Although I do feel scurvy is an issue...
I'm no expert but I beleive people in higher altitudes are much less at risk of a Vitamin D deficiency. The suns radiation is much more potent up here (I live at 5000 ft).
As for the diabetes (see also dieabetus), it was mostly for fun.
Would like to point out steam seems to mess that up sometimes if you offline play. Put in more than 12 hours or so into TLD when my internet was down for a while and when I came back online it said I had only played an hour, still hasn't added the lost time.
