Trapper's Homestead safe combo?

deos anyone out there know the combonation to the safe in the trapper's homestead?

I believe it's randomized every time you start a new game.

But you can pick the lock. it's rather easy.

It's random each time, rotate it like a real lock. Make sure to go past zero while turning counter clockwise, you should hear a click if you go too fast you will pass it and need to loop past zero again. After the first tick rotate the other direction until you hear the same sound *EDIT* after the second tick, go back the other direction for the thrid. Eventually you will get all 3. If you need more info just let me know.

you turn it clockwise, then counter-clockwise then clockwise again, do this slowly by tapping, there is no other way as the combo is not pre-determined. It isn't difficult.

but there's a f---load of small clicks while turning it.
will i know it when it happens or something?

yes, you hear a distinctly different "click" plus, the icon on the right will say "tumbler UNLOCKED".
Honestly, any 14-year-old can do it ;)

it's a lot easier then lockpicking in the fallout and elder scrolls games. I knew instantly how to open it when I first encountered a safe in the dam. too bad Fluffy heard and killed me.
