I haven't gotten one myself yet, but I suppose the wolf coat is a *craftable* item.
Thx!
jk ;)
Just made one a few minutes ago.

They are +7 warmth, +5 wind chill.
I have no idea how well they hold up yet being as I just made it.
:)
My bas camp has 3 wolves walking around it 24/7. Every time I step out the door, I see 2 coats and they see Meals on Heels.
No dev comment yet if that is intended.
Hmm, interesting description.
Curious if it will actually scare / impress the wolves when they see it.
@Bunks:
:D good one!
Well they aren't light weight, that's for sure. The old Marine Peacoat now weighs 2.0kg and isn't as good for warmth and such but this coat weighs 4.0. It's heavy and heavy duty so I'd guess it's probably intended.
Oh and I checked harvesting it -- 2 cloth from it. Not damaged yet so I'm not sure what it's repair value and types are.
That 2 cloth from it may or may not be a bug being as there is no cloth for making it. It might be inteded to give you a perpetual source of cloth type gig; if you can keep killing wolves to make them. Or it might be a bug and only supposed to give you leather back being as it's made of hides.
I'd hope it's a bug (or rather they simply missed it).
It makes no sense to get cloth from a 100% leather coat.
A 4 kg coat alright.
Reminds me of Ghostbusters 2 when the little guy walks out the building, fully geared up, and says "BOY this equipment is heavy!" :D
Another great example of how the devs make your decisions matter. "You want a heavy fur coat? Sure. But you'll have to carry the weight too!". Makes 100% sense.
