My Game Display is Upside Down

I have no idea what is going on. I started the game and then it showed up as a bright pink screen. I then found out that all I needeed to do was change the graphics to Ultra and that all cleared up. When I began to play, I noticed that the whole screen was upside down. The controls worked fine, it was just that the screen was upside down. I kept on changing the display settings and nothing seemed to work. So, I was like "Might as well start playing" and it was hard to move because the screen was upside down. As I traveled through the map, I kept finding little spots of the bright pink, and some of the rocks and trees didnt load the colors and showed up black. So I have no idea how to fix the display and make it right side up. Any suggestions?

The description of spots of pink, not loading colors, showing up black sounds like a hardware rendering issue. Ignoring that, have you tried to verify game integrity to make sure you don't have a corrupt install?

Up-side down picture though, that is weird. I've heard of it happening on Eyefinity setups when using incorrect resolution. Are you running multi-monitors? Any custom changes made on your GPU's control panel?

No I haven't done anything to my computer ever. The words at the beginning and the words that are on the screen such as "Trailer", "Outdoors", "Mystery Lake", all show up fine and they are right side up. It is only the background that is upside down, like where it shows the main screen. I am not running multi-monitors. Even the characters breath is right side up. Like the words that come up through the gameplay are perfectly normal. It is just that the whole screen is upside down. I do not know what to do. I am so confused now

try going to properties in steam for this game and using the verify game integrity option.

if that doesnt work delete game content and reinstall it, lucky for you the games still got a small file size.

and if that doesnt work try completely reinstalling the graphics drivers, usualy messed up graphics textures also mean the graphics chipsets either overheating and damaging itself, or has gone kaput completely and you need a new graphics card (had that in cs 1.6 many moons ago but only ingame, needed a new graphics card)
