Low fps on AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series.

Just bought the game 30 minutes ago and started it up and noticed the fps was quite bad.

I adjusted the graphics settings accoridngly but turning it down from Ultra to Low made little to no difference.

My card is a Crossfire card so I disabled Crossfire to see if that made a difference but it didn't unfortunately. I also have the latest video drivers which the stickied topic said to make sure were up to date.

Anyone else getting a similar issue?

Make sure you have C++ redistributable package

Just installed it and tried running the game, unfortunately it didn't make a difference. :(

alphas are very seldom optimized to full potential, i had to turn down my settings also and my specs are about the same as yours, just give it a little bit of time man

Nope not running anything in the background or streaming. I understand that it's alpha and it's not going to be fully optimized. Just getting around 20- 30 fps on low and not really playable. :(

7970 ghz edition here. The game uses only about 30% of the GPU. It's very CPU dependent. Overclocking my processor gave me a decent amount more FPS on average.

Might be worth a try to unistall the game and re-install now that you have the C++ package.

Intel i7-3630QM
16 GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 670MX

Its a laptop, running on high on all settings, no issues.

Might be an AMD vs Nvidia issue.

I'm playing the game with my i5 3330, 16gb ram and Ati / Amd 6850 on Ultra. How are you lagging? Cannot understand whats going wrong with your copy. Wait a Moment.. Your running windows 8.1? That might explain things XD
