Sounds like the same house! I guess there's a few places it can spawn inside it. Useless without ammo though. I'm guessing there's somewhere it will be stockpiled, kind of like how it often is in the Dam or Trapper's Homestead. Still searching!
the main road doesn't go up to signal hill, it's all snowed.
Once your at the farmhouse with the grain silo outside, you should be about to spot the tall radio tower on Signal hill. Go towards it, once your at the base of it you can go left and make your way up some steep but not too step hiils. Toy go up half way and make a slight U-turn to the right to go up the rest of the way. The vantage point from signal hill is really good, but I could really only spot the farm house from it.
When you entered the map from CH, go down until you find the main road. Go left and follow the road until you found a bridge. There is a blue house (there are several houses there). You will find a rifle inside the bedroom. The rifle is leaning on the wall beside the large cabinet. 4th rifle in this game but not enough bullets *sigh*. Careful, saw a wolf when I exited the house. As usual, cluster of houses will be patrolled by wolves.
I also had a wolf run right by me from behind near where the Coastal mountian path to ML meets the main lake road. I was like "um, ok - I guess that a wussy wolf". He would have had me for sure.
was likely chasing a deer or rabbit then if you were playing on normal or hard mode.
I doubt it because I could see a good 30 feet ahead of him and had approached the area from a distance.
Then your likely playing easy mode,
