How to Shoot Fire-Hardened Arrows

I crafted 2 simple arrows (with arrowheads I found in ML at Carter) and 3 fire-hardened arrows. I dropped the simple arrows but still can't figure out how to use the hardened ones. There aren't any arrows in my inventory while I'm holding the survival bow. I've had a lot of experience in using the bow. Am I missing something? Did I jinx or override it by making simple arrows?

Thank you! I didn't see any option, so I saved and exited. Started TLD up again and now an option appears to switch arrows ("R" on the keyboard for PC).
