Transmitter Repair...Ouch!

Not an easy task! Looks like each transmitter requires 3 Fuses, 1 car battery, 5 scrap metal and 2 wires. Really nice addition but oy, the grind!

Not sure, but I would think so, because survival saves were not wiped with the update.

i found 3 new car batterys so far that is new. none of them was in cars.

Nice! But I'm still trying to figure out where to get wires for the repair.

Aha! Wires are a found item. Now to find another one. Ugh.

I had good luck finding wires (and replacement fuses) by work benches and in garages.

So far most of the needed stuff has been in or around structures nearest to the tower. As to batteries I think they have replaced some . I found a battery in a truck in MT that I am pretty sure I had harvested earlier in the run.

The first transmitter to repair, the one in FA is easy, all is need to repair is scattered around or near the panel.

Do the new components wear out after a while as well? The note certainly makes it sound like they do, but it might just be flavor text.

I can find no batteries in mountain town anywhere, any hints?

In PV wires and fuses were in the farm house basement. Problem is you have to lug a battery up to that tower. I used an old char, looted that farm house about 100 days ago, and that is where all the stuff was. Plus, two car batteries were in the cars by the road leaving the farm house. I am pretty sure I snagged all the batteries when I was doing my firearm leveling making bullets.

In BRR there are a ton of wires and fuses in the place with the pickups on the lifts and the forge. Sorry can't remember name. You have to look all over, lots and lots of stuff and a battery next to one of the tool boxes.

Headed to FA to get my chumpy.

I'm on the same problem, someone found a new car battery yet? (that is not in cars, i scrapped them all and non respawned)

Hope they can fix what seems to be a glitch, we used the batteries for bullets, so they need to respawn them, like they added the wires and fuses, which are all over now.

Just found one in PV, the car on "the long curve", then head up the back way to the tower
