Storage Box Move - Bug?

Is anyone also unable to move existing large storage chests to a new spot using the new home customisation feature?

When I try to do it the model shows red no matter if there is a large enough space to place.

The lodge on broken river has a large chest on the second floor which I cant place downstairs.

It's how is. You can't move this box and some other other interior pieces, like the radio.

This safehouse customization has several flaws - like curtains half way in the windows; and inconsistences: you can move the fire barrel in the Dam, but can't move the fire barrel in CH Quonset.

Some picture frame can be placed only in the floor, a mattress can't be placed over another bed or cardboard piece, only over the floor.

Some steel cabinets half sunken in the floor...

It is pretty janky but they're going to continue working on it apparently. There's so much you can do already, maybe just forgive the stuff that doesn't quite work right now.

Yeah I quite like the new feature, for now I moved the large cabinet down.

There are some issue with a few shelves being half way into the ground, or floating objects. but overall its been alright.
