Is there any difference between the Xbox One version?
I'm interested in buying the Xbox One version of "The Long Dark" (my computer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥) and I was wondering if there was any kind of difference between PC and X1.

Current Version: Sandbox Alpha v.258 / Xbox One v.258 (from hinterland forum)

I'm unsure but the xbox might not have display settings (low/med/high/ultra) or multi-screen support, gameplay wise though, as long as the versions are the same then the content should remain the same. Why have conflicting version notes for each system?

Over to xbox I assume as OP said their pc is junk, I might wander over also just because an xbox1 cost the same as a good GPU. Someone over the weekend found a way to boost video output to 60fps on a very high rez on xbox. Im using a tablet on low with 25 - 35 fps, in a few more updates I might not be able to play at all.

Whoops sorry, I meant "wondering" instead of "wandering"

Just as a clarification, apart from what sockpuppet mentioned, there are no major differences in the PC/Mac and XBox One versions of the game. In addition to having identical gameplay, the updates and patches/hotfixes are also happening simultaneously, so no console gets left behind.
