Did you hunt that fir limb!?! How many shots did it take to bring it down, how long did you have to track its sap trail? lol :D
Christ can you imagine that? If it's anything like the wildlife you'd shoot it once and the tree would run off over a hill, dissappear from sight and the sap trail would vanish into thin air.
I was lucky it only took 2 shots to drop it, as for how long to track it, I spent the night in a cave watching, listening, then I saw a bear running from it outside (limbs eat bears), I saw it take down the bear so I shot it (2 for 1 shot). Limb went agro, rushed me so I reloaded and aimed for its vitals. What a hunt it was.
Fir is less common but I found it both East and West of the Farmstead or whatever towards the road is(and on the other side) and towards the open shed thing the opposite direction. Wood is extremely plentiful there. My floor is covered near the stove.
