Where's the fir firewood?

So, since the new update requires people to actually go outside and search for wood, I've been exploring as much as I can to find fir firewood. I'm currently stationed in Pleasant Valley. I've only been able to find cedar so far. Does anyone know where I could find it, and how does it look like? Does it spawn under only a certain type of tree?

It spawns in the form of fir limbs. They look thicker and are less branched than cedar limbs. They do not spawn that distinctly than cedar limbs, though obviously some micro areas spawn cedar, other fir, but typically still roughly close together.

Did you hunt that fir limb!?! How many shots did it take to bring it down, how long did you have to track its sap trail? lol :D

Christ can you imagine that? If it's anything like the wildlife you'd shoot it once and the tree would run off over a hill, dissappear from sight and the sap trail would vanish into thin air.

I was lucky it only took 2 shots to drop it, as for how long to track it, I spent the night in a cave watching, listening, then I saw a bear running from it outside (limbs eat bears), I saw it take down the bear so I shot it (2 for 1 shot). Limb went agro, rushed me so I reloaded and aimed for its vitals. What a hunt it was.

Watch-out for it's splinter-grenade attack.

Fir is less common but I found it both East and West of the Farmstead or whatever towards the road is(and on the other side) and towards the open shed thing the opposite direction. Wood is extremely plentiful there. My floor is covered near the stove.

Just look in close proximity of bear caves, and on the wolf patrol routes - the Fir normaly spawns there. In all the safe and easy spots you can find Cedar...
