I've never tried that, thanks!
I do not use any wikis but do search hinterland forum and was using reddit until Chairman Pao messed it up. Steam has the most info and best community for TLD, and I enjoy many of the posters here, even the trolls. :^)

Again, this receives no contributions from anyone associated with the studio. Therefore, it is not technically considered "official". We have made contributions to the standard wikipedia.org page associated with the game, but there is no truly official wiki dedicated to The Long Dark. I do not know our plans as far as creating one as it would constitute a fair amount of work to build and maintain.
It is absolutely wonderful to see the community taking time to create and contribute to things like this. Just want to offer clarification when possible if something is referred to as "official" :)
It's strange that the Gamepedia wiki labels itself as "Official" in the pagetitle (i.e. Official The Long Dark Wiki) yet in its about[thelongdark.gamepedia.com] and disclaimer pages it says it "...has no affiliation with Hinterland Studio Inc.." Now Hinterland states there's no official wiki.
It's a bit misleading to readers when the wiki says that they're official when they're not. Is that a concern for you?
Well, they also tend to have rather bad reputation.
The standard Wikipedia is a real life encyclopedia and not really for games unless you want something like a backstory there of course. It's more like an overall information about something, which must contain real data. So I doubt you can use it for this game. What OP meant is most likely a custom wiki site with full of informations just about this game.
Yes, I understood. :) Just letting you guys know the basic wikipedia page was the only one we have contributed to ourselves.
Having things labeled as "official" when they are not is obviously something we like to try to avoid, but I don't actually see the word "official" on the main page, unless I'm missing it: http://thelongdark.gamepedia.com/The_Long_Dark_Wiki
Additionally, on the main front page for this wiki, it actually states that this is written and maintained by the players, which is exactly what it should say.
