I wouldn't recommend that. Antibiotics have two uses while antiseptic only has one. It's much better to use antiseptic on the front end and get rid of its weight burden while building up the lighter OMB bandage reserve. Once those run out, then one should play the infection risk game and use antibios, rather than get wiped out by a food poisoining episode because they used all their antibios or reishi tea to treat wound infections while having a gallon of antiseptic avaliable.
Animal meat is not risk free. Even at 99% cooked condition, it bears the risk of food poisoning, it may be almost zero, but not absolute zero. Plant based medicines are ultimitely limited due to the limit on how many mushrooms one can harvest, since they do not respawn. If one does not intend to last a very very long time, then this may potentially not be an issue, but electing to utilize a given resource that has multiple uses over another the precedes it for its only use is just not frugal.
I call it, like the achievement, "living off the land". Record so far was 196 days, and could easily have gone much longer if I hadn't gotten reckless with trying the 3 nights outside achievement.
