Great Base Locations in Broken Silence (Spoilers)
What are some locations that in your opinion are better after the global wildlife refresh?
Here's a couple of my opinions from observation:

1. There's a moose that spawns close to the camp office. Taking him down offers more variety in loot/meat
2. Not sure 100% sure, but there seems to no longer be a wolf blocking the entrance to the road to the lonely lighthouse. There's also now a moose that spawns between there and the Riken.
3. Quonset garage now has a deer spawn right outside and there seems to be *less* wolves. Also of course there's the radio for the trader

When I was poking around in Ash Canyon it seemed like the wolves there weren't quite so perfectly placed to block off every possible exit from Angler's Den. In particular I didn't see any wolves between there and the broken fishing hut, so that's pretty nice if it's consistent.

The problem is it changes over time. What was a moose yesterday could be a pck of timberwolves the next day.

The summit now has a wolf greeting you as you finish the exhausting rope climb. ...as a bonus he also goes inside the tail section.....

Oh no ! I was planning to go there after my trip to Ash Canyon... And I haven't got a weapon in this run !

Alright, so here's one:
The fishing village in CH*

The wolves that hangs out under the docks are gone. Instead, there's a pack that hang out between the first and second fishing hut, but if you're mindful you can easily fish in the first hut without attention. That pack is not even always there.

Follow the road down to the deadend and you'll find deer and a rabbit grove past the bridge, no wolves.

The asterisk is that there is still a bear that patrols the fishing village and I think NOW his patrol can take him to the workbench outside (don't think he did this if you crouched before). Kill him before you craft and you have a bit of a paradise.

In addition to the wolf at the summit in TWM, as I was goating down with 50+kg of goodies I was also surprised to see a bear descending the almost-vertical section of snow field ahead of me. Not something I've ever seen before.

Bears and the Z-axis of movement don't get along in TLD, so they tend to ignore each other.

I've seen a bear literally run over a hut in CH, like as if it wasn't there.

But to get back on topic, Thomson's Crossing in PV - if players can build and place workbenches now, the community house just became even more viable as a base, but I've yet to learn how the new animal spawns are in the area.

For latter game retirement - CH Jackrabbits House.

Yes, no fireplace there, but can put a campfire between the nearest three and a rock, protected from wind.

Plenty of storage just in the cook, space for Woodwork and Work bench.

Rabbits around, Deer spawn in the ice bellow, beachcombing at hand, fishing hut in safety place not too far, salt outcrop near...

Clear path for Quonset Garage for use the Trader radio.

It's close to Trader box - Misantropes house is more close, but don't like their layout, and no place for campfire protected from the wind close, and a wolf used to walk near the house.

Really think a no-loading screen house is the cosiest one to be in, the devs certainly were cooking with Transfer Pass railway station in the game's Main Menu... I wanna like Mindful Cabin but damn FA is so cold there in Loper, just freeze in 2 minutes after leaving it. Gathering wood for furniture must be absolute hell... So I guess I'll settle for TWM Mountaneer Hut

I've been getting back into the game after a break around the time ZoC came out. I had carted a good deal of my unique gear over to the Vacant Depot in Transfer Pass and I must say that I have been rather enjoying personalising the Depot. I still need to kit out the depot with a full workbench, but the whole area doesn't have any hostile wildlife, so I can comfortably improve my archery skills on the prey wildlife that is in the area. I've just completed Buried Echoes, and now it's time to make the journey to the weather station and take on the last tale. Once that's completed, I'll probably shelf the game until the final piece of content comes out and I can find out the end of the story.

This is gonna sound crazy, but hear me out.

Cannery Worker Residences in Bleak Inlet

Deer spawn just behind, and a little behind that a bear spawns. Rabbits and deer at the fallen lighthouse, and you're gonna want to swing by there anyway for beachcombing. The fishing hut is super close to the main building. Be aware of the timberwolves guarding the fishing hut passed the bear cave behind you.

You'll be close the workshop. The forge is only a region away. Beachcombing, hunting, fishing. Pretty aurora skies on the regular.
