DLC worth?

i wonder if it is worth it or any good? do you like it? cheating death system ruin the immersive? cougar? new areas? the reviews are all over the place what do you think fellow players? thank you in advance

The reason I bought the DLC was for the cooking recipes. As for the new regions, I've never tried them yet.

Well, the price I paid for TLD plus the DLC has worked out less than 2 cents hour of game play. Even though there are things I strongly disagree with in the base in and the DLC they are my still my favorite time vampire.

I wouldn't take those reviews seriously if I were you. The DLC adds a great deal of content on top of what is already a great game. You get more variety in weapons, clothing and food (with unique benefits), along with regions with new and unique hazards/afflictions and some new tool variants as well. There's also the Tales where you discover more of the backstory of Great Bear island, but I can't comment on that yet, as I have only just started the Tales with repairing the transmitters. Something to keep in mind is that you will get a lot of these benefits even before you visit the far territories as well, simply by playing in the main regions.

Honestly aside from the Cougar as it currently is and the new area being absolutely infested with Timberwolves (both can be toggled off in customs), there's still a lot about the dlc I have enjoyed. Including the challenge imposed by cheating death, which isn't present in Misery mode, so if you don't like it atm try that out.
