EDIT: IDK about story mode, though . . . if you buy it just for that you could be disappointed.
People tag with dumb, ignorant, nonsensical ♥♥♥♥ all the time. Did you know you could add and vote on tags even if you don't own the game? What in the name of sweet merciful ♥♥♥♥ is Valve thinking lately? But there you are. User tags on Steam are generally more helpful if you totally ignore them and do your own research.
That only confirms how bad mechanics this game has. Normally, you would stop harvesting to save your life. But here, by one click you commit to a sever hour activity, which is later compressed to 5 seconds. While 1 second can be 2 hours in game, everything may happen during that 1 second and you may not be able to react in time. The weather may change and you can die accidentally. Seriously? An accidental frezing during harvesting a bear. And of course a perma death after so much time put into you character. Joke.
People saing in this very thread that the game is chalenging and deep are newbies. The game has well known bad mechanics that you can exploit like hibernation, bears stoping on torches every time, wolves attacking in the same pattern every time and more. There in nothing deep in this. That is only their imagination. They play the game and they imagine non existing things. And above that is walking. The game is not worth 20€
